How to take the test

Start the run and hit each target as it appears inside the board. The target always stays fully inside the play area, including after the board changes size. Pointer events are used so mouse, trackpad, stylus, and touch input can all work from the same browser logic.

Blank-area misses do not end the game. They are shown with your result so you can tell whether a faster run came from cleaner movement or from taking more risks.

Scoring method

The game records the time from the first visible target until the thirtieth target is hit. Your main score is total elapsed milliseconds divided by thirty. Lower average time is better.

Why results vary

Pointer speed, touch latency, display refresh rate, hand position, browser zoom, and current system load can all affect results. Scores are for entertainment and general information, not medical, diagnostic, neurological, or IQ claims.

Aim trainer FAQ

Do missed clicks end the run?

No. Blank-area misses are counted for context, but the run continues until all thirty targets are hit.

When does timing start?

Timing starts only when the first target appears, so reading the instructions or finding the start button is not part of your score.

Why are touch targets larger?

Touch input usually needs a larger surface than a mouse pointer, so the target increases on coarse-pointer devices and narrow screens.
